Over it, and even some cabins

I always went to. My friends, my classmates and I

Did what friends do best-playing nonstop

In the playground, did bows and arrows, did a rock climbing wall,

running all day.

Played spotlight, swam or ran

Doing nothing important.


We have just comeback from camp raglan, it was really fun. We copied from a model and we write it about camp.

Tokelau Culture

For reading we have been focusing on the Tokelau culture. Tokelau is a country that is separated to 3 islands. One thing I found interesting is the there language is spoke in Samoa as well.

Camp Raglan

The Day When People Disappear At Camp

It was a dark and scary night when Chris and Joe went outside and they saw someone was looking at them. They ran back inside and nobody was there. They got scared and locked the door and slept over night. They woke up to see if it was a dream but nobody was there. They went outside and someone was still there, they chased after it but the creature ran away.

Chris and Joe went into the girl's cabin to see if anyone was there their. They saw Mya and Hailee their. They joined the boys to see if there were any teachers. They found Mrs T  Mrs T was as scared as a mouse being chased by a cat. They went outside to see if anyone was there but they weren't. It was getting cold and dark so they had dinner and went to sleep in the same cabin.

At the middle of the night they heard the door creak but they kept on sleeping. There was a big shadow and in a blink of an eye they screamed and gave them a fright. Turns out the people hiding were there class mates doing a prank.

Tomorrow we are going to camp raglan for 2 nights and 3 days. So we did a narrative and we had to have a problem and a solution.

Grandparents Day

On Tuesday is grandparents day. Grandparents day is when our grandparents come and we can show them what we do at school.

Chemical Reactions

For reading we were looking at chemical reactions we were looking at moving molecules and oil and water. A cool fact I found out that molecules are at a faster rate in hot water than cold water.

The Craft Market

 

Our school had a craft market on Friday and all the money we get will go to our school camp. My class made soap, flubber soap, lip scrub and pamper packs. MY group made flubber soap, flubber soap is like play dough but it is soap.

Matilda

We are reading a book called Matilda and we had to make slides about Matilda,and this is mine.

The Twits

Mr And Mrs Twit That smelly old beard, that nasty look of his gives me nightmares, Mr twit is a ugly old man who doesn't care about anyone besides him. He looks like he lived in a dumpster and he looks like a chewbacca because he has hair all over him. He is really mean and disgusting, whenever he eats more than half his food sticks to his beard and he never washes it. His personality is as horrible as he looks he puts glue on trees so birds get stuck than he can eat them. You may think he's kind to Mrs twit but he acts the worst with her he put a frog in her bed, stuck balloons on her so she could fly to space. Mrs twit is as horrible as Mr twit her stick is like a tornado hitting everybody out of her path, she looks like she is a evil granny that wants to rule the world. Her glass eye is the worst thing about her she sometimes puts it on the ground to scare Mr twit. You might think that if you look ugly on the outside doesn't mean your personality is the same but it isn’t with Mr and Mrs twit. Mrs twit also doesn't care about anyone else she is mean but not as disgusting as Mr twit she does some horrible things like hit kids, prank Mr twit and much more. Mr and Mrs twit are really mean and disgusting as you can see so that's it for me.

Our class is making a cookbook Mrs P told us to pick our favorite recipe my one was coconut balls. Then she said when you go home wright your recipe on the Chromebook and share to her, this is mine.

How To Make Pinwheel Scones

My reading the octopuses where looking on foods Mrs p told us we can all agree on one recipe to make. We chose pinwheel because they sounded really nice.When we made them we each did one bit. Once they were cooked and baked we eat them and they were Delicious! Then Mrs p askedus to write the recipe and this is mine.

What I Learnt About Percentages

Term2 Goals

Yesterday was three way conferences and that is when your parents come to see your work. We made google slides to show our goals and what we were at for reading writing and math.

Chocolate

This week for my reading our book was Fair Chocolate. First we had to do our PK ( prior Knowledge ) then we read the book. Next we did vocab when we need to find the meaning of the words we were given then we research and we had to find 10 things we didn't know about chocolate.For our presentation we did a prezi and this is mine.

The boys had a sports day. We had a variety of sport's my favorite was the agility test.

My Holidays!

In the holidays I went to Tauranga to see my cousins. They are three years old and are triplets! We also went to the Hamilton Gardens. In the gardens there were a variety of different themed gardens like the Indian Char Bagh Garden, English flower garden, Modernist garden, Chinese Scholars garden and the Japanese garden of contemplation. My favourite was the Italian Renaissance Garden.

Have A Go Day

Yesterday was Have a go day and we played some sport's the sports we played were, Handball,Turbo touch,Futsal ( modified football),Ultimate Frisbee. I liked it because there were a variety of sports. My favorite sport was touch.

Managing time effectively
